Welcome artists!

The 17th Annual Art in the Park will be held Sept. 20-21, 2008 in downtown Greenville, SC.

Upstate Visual Arts is excited to announce that Art in the Park 2008 will be held at West End Field. It has the honor of being the first festival held in this location.

This new venue, located in the heart of Greenville’s thriving, newly-redeveloped West End arts district, offers a fantastic opportunity for artists to gain greater exposure and for our 20,000-plus festival-goers to experience our region’s rich and varied artistic palette.

This new location offers:

The opportunity for early set-up on Friday, September 19.
Space for 120 booths—50 more than last year.
Ample and level space for booths.
Free, next-to-site uncovered parking for exhibitors.
Free trolley service from parking lots and downtown area for festival attendees.
Continuous and additional security from set-up to close.
Expanded concessions, including the Beer & Wine Garden (within a confined and controlled area of the stadium.)
After the close of the festival on Saturday the concessions and Beer & Wine Garden will remain open for artists and the public.

Booth and fence show applications must be postmarked by May 2, 2008.
Notifications will be mailed by May 23, 2008.
