Trading Faces 2008 is a unique juried exhibit produced by Upstate Visual Arts, and is open to all photographers whose photographs depict the Greenville area (within a 60 mile radius of Greenville). This event is part of Greenville's commitment to build lasting relationships in culture, history, geography and people between the sister cities of Greenville, SC and Tianjan, China. A total of 50 photographs will be selected for display at City Hall in Tianjan, China. When Trading Faces returns to Greenville, a reception will celebrate a joint show of photography from Tianjan and Greenville. Participating photographers are eligible for monetary awards and for the honor of displaying their work overseas. Their work will also be for sale when the exhibit is in Greenville.
